The Sweet Sanctuary is a private, peaceful home for the animals that is not open to public on a regular basis. On occasion, we open up our barn doors so our donors can meet the animals they’ve come to know and love.

At this time, no visiting opportunities are available for 2023.

The Sweet Sanctuary is a forever home to horses and farm animals that have either retired from being used in an industry, or have been rescued from neglect, abuse, injury or abandonment.

The Sweet Sanctuary is located in Mississippi Mills, Ontario, and operates on 85 acres of safe haven. It includes a magical pig forest, goat mountain, and sprawling pastures.

The Sweet Sanctuary Animal Rescue is a registered Canadian charity, and all financial gifts are tax-deductible.
